VICTORY CITY<00539> - Unusual volume movement

The Stock Exchange has received a message from Victory City
International Holdings Limited which is reproduced as follows:-

"The following statement is made at the request of The Stock Exchange of 
Hong Kong Limited ("Stock Exchange").

The directors ("Directors") of the Company have noted the recent increase 
in trading volume of the shares of the Company and wish to state that they 
are not aware of any reasons for such increase in trading volume.

The Directors also confirm that there are no negotiations or agreements 
relating to intended acquisitions or realisations which are discloseable 
under rule 13.23 of the Rules ("Listing Rules") Governing the Listing of 
Securities on the Stock Exchange, neither are the Directors aware of any 
matter discloseable under the general obligation imposed by rule 13.09 of 
the Listing Rules, which is or may be of a price-sensitive nature.

Limited, the Directors of which individually and jointly accept 
responsibility for the accuracy of the above statement.

As at the date of this announcement, the board of Directors comprises five 
executive Directors, namely, Li Ming Hung, Chen Tien Tui, So Kam Wah, Lee 
Yuen Chiu Andy, Choi Lin Hung; and three independent non-executive 
Directors, namely, Kan Ka Hon, Phaisalakani Vichai and Kwok Sze Chi.
